Proof of Address (Address Verification)

In some situations, our Top Support team may request a Proof of Address from you or the individual(s) who is supporting you financially. This is sometimes a requirement forlegal and contractual reasons. If we request you to send us a proof of address, you can do so by attaching it your email reply.

Accepted Proof of Address

The following documents are acceptable as Proof of Address, provided they display the user’s current residence:

  • Utility Bills (e.g., Gas, Electricity, Water, Internet, TV, Telephone/Mobile, Cable, Trash/Rubbish, Recycling, etc.)
  • Bank statement showing the user's current address, in cases where a utility bill cannot be provided.

Non-Accepted Proof of Address

The following documents are not accepted as Proof of Address:

  • Registration documents
  • Invoices (e.g., for online purchases)
  • Insurance documents

Important Requirements

  • The document must be dated within 3 months prior to the date you received the request.
  • The name on the Proof of Address must match the name on the Proof of Funds provided.

Multiple users can also take part in this step

If you've identified in your Tenant Profile some additional users to be part and/or to support your payment obligations - ie flatmates, family members, companies, institutions -, we are also willing to accept their or documents as a proof of address for your booking. However, you will need to share their contact details with us (Name, Surname, Email address and phone number).
