At Spotahome, we ensure that all properties listed on our platform are thoroughly verified, providing trust and peace of mind to thousands of tenants booking their next home.
Verification is also important for landlords, as it is particularly advantageous for several reasons:
Increases Conversion: Verified properties get 56% more booking requests.Reduces Complaints: Verified properties get 38% fewer complaints after check-in.
It's free for the landlord: Spotahome will cover this cost.
You can verify your listing through an in-person visit by a Homechecker (Physical Verification) or via a virtual verification by one of our agents easily from your landlord panel.
Physical Verification
A Homechecker is a representative sent by Spotahome to verify and check the properties we list. This visit typically takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the size of the property. During the visit, the Homechecker will:
- Complete a form collecting information about the property's features, rental conditions, and landlord policies.
- Take high-quality pictures of the property.
- Create a high-definition video tour of the property.
- Create a floor plan showing the layout of the property.
Important: Once you have scheduled the Homechecker visit, you will receive an email with a link to the form. To save time, please fill out this form before the visit.
Virtual Verification
Alternatively, you can choose our fast, safe, and completely online virtual verification. One of our Spotahome agents will verify your property with you via a recorded video call. This is a much faster process, as it consists in a 30-minute video call is needed to verify your property, and no in-person contact is required.
To proceed with virtual verification, you will need:
