How do I cancel a confirmed booking?

If you need to cancel an upcoming booking that you previously accepted, please follow these steps:

  1. Log In to the Landlord Panel: Access your account by logging in here.

  2. Navigate to the Bookings Section: Once logged in, click on the "Bookings" section in your Landlord Panel.

  3. Select Upcoming Bookings: Within the "Bookings" section, go to the "Upcoming" tab to view all bookings that are pending check-in.

  4. Choose the Booking to Cancel: Identify the booking you wish to cancel. In the actions column, click on "Cancel Booking".

  5. Provide a Reason and Confirm: Enter the reason for the cancellation and confirm your action.

As a Landlord: 
  1. If you cancel a booking at any time after you have accepted it:
    1. we will charge you the Landlord commission due from the booking. 
  2. If you cancel a booking on the move-in date or within 48 hours after the move-in date: 
    1. We will charge you the Landlord commission due from the booking plus up to € / £ 300 to cover the emergency accommodation costs for the tenant.
  3. If you cancel the tenancy after the tenant has moved in and this cancellation takes place before the end of the contract:
    1. We will not refund any part of the commission from the booking.
If the Tenant cancels: 
  1. 30-59 days before the tenant moves in;
    1. You will receive 50% of the tenant’s first rental payment (or 25% of the holding deposit in London).
  2. 0-29 days before the tenant moves in:
    1. You will receive 100% of the first month’s rental payment (or 50% of the holding deposit in London).
  3. Anytime after the move-in date:
    1. This should be handled between the tenant and landlord.
