Spotahome Plus is a service designed to give both landlords and tenants added security and support. One key feature of Spotahome Plus is its guarantee coverage, which protects landlords against risks such as non-payment or tenant early exits. However, this coverage is only applicable when tenants pass Spotahome’s thorough verification process.
How Does the Verification Process Work?
To ensure the protection of your booking, the tenant must complete the verification process set by Spotahome. This process includes verifying their identity and any other relevant documentation, as well as checking their rental financial standing.
Only once the tenant has successfully passed this verification will their booking be covered by Spotahome’s guarantees.
How Do I Know My Booking Is Covered?
As a landlord, you will be notified when a tenant’s booking is covered by Spotahome Plus guarantees. You will receive an email with the subject line: "Your new tenant has been approved - [Booking Reference]". In this email, you’ll find confirmation that the tenant has successfully completed the vetting process and that the booking is now covered under the Spotahome guarantees.
The email will include:
- The tenant’s name.
- The booking reference number.
- Confirmation that the reservation is protected by Spotahome's guarantee.
- Details of the property (e.g., rent, location).
- A copy of the Tenant(s) documents
