This step must be completed by all the users you have identified in your Tenant Profile.
This will take you only a couple of minutes, if you have your ID/Passport ready. Please, do not use your driving licence to complete LEM Verify. We will not accept it as a valid document.
By completing the identity verification process, you will establish immediate trust with your landlord.
How to access LEM verification:
Both you and any of the Flatmates or users that will support you financially that you have identified in your Tenant Profile will receive an email from LEM verify, from which you can begin the verification.
How to complete LEM verification:
- Access the verification platform provided by Spotahome from the email
- Provide your current address accurately.
- Upload a clear copy or photograph of your valid passport or national ID.
- Complete a quick liveness check using your camera. This may involve following on-screen instructions or capturing a short video.
Tips for a Fast and Successful Process:
- Share High-Quality Document Pictures:
- Ensure all four corners of your document are in view.
- Make sure the document is clear, readable, and not obstructed by fingers.
- Avoid any shadowing or glare when capturing and uploading the images.
- Check Document Validity:
- Verify that all your documents are currently valid and not expired.
- Rest assured that your documents will be stored securely and in compliance with GDPR regulations.
Why does LEM Verify need my address?
LEM Verify will ask for your residence address as a measure to ensure compliance with legal requirements, prevent fraud, and maintain security for both you and the property.
I can’t complete LEM Verify, what can I do?
Most probably, this is happening due to an issue with the device you are trying to complete LEM Verify on. Please do the following:
- Check you have enabled permission of camera and microphone of your device.
- Try from a different device
- If it still does not work, please reach out to our Customer Support team
