Spotahome Deposit Protection Guarantee: Eligibility Requirements and Coverage Details

What are the eligibility requirements for the Deposit Protection guarantee?

To be eligible for the Deposit Protection Guarantee, tenants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Submit Visual Evidence: Provide photographic or video documentation of the property's condition within 48 hours of the check-in date. This documentation should clearly show the state of the property, including any pre-existing damages or issues, to establish a record of the property's condition at the start of the tenancy.
  2. Document All Areas: Damage in areas not documented during the check-in process will be excluded from coverage.
  3. Adhere to Rental Contract Conditions: Comply with all original conditions of the rental contract. This includes adhering to the check-out date, timely payment of utility bills, and avoiding actions that may incur additional costs for the tenant or landlord.

These requirements must be met for Spotahome to cover the tenant's security deposit under the Deposit Protection Guarantee.
