What if the landlord asks to proceed with the booking outside Spotahome
If the landlord asks you to cancel the booking that was confirmed with Spotahome,
we recommend you to get in touch with Spotahome directly and not to accept the owner’s request, as Spotahome can only guarantee the security of the payment if the booking takes place through the Spotahome platform. Keep in mind that Spotahome’s guarantees won’t apply and we won’t be able to assist with any issues of your offline reservation with the owner. Additionally, thanks to the data analytical tools and processes in place, Spotahome will be able to detect the instances where the Spotahome booking was cancelled but the tenant and the landlord continued offline. If that occurs, Spotahome will take necessary actions to recover the corresponding Reservation Fee or Service Fee applied to the referred booking reservation for the digitally connected users.
