How is a property verified?
The verification process can take place with a physical or virtual visit to the property.
- Physical: A Homechecker is an appointed representative of Spotahome, to make sure you get what you see. They take photos, videos and create a floorplan which is then uploaded to the website.
- Virtual: the Homechecker is supported by the Landlord. The Homechecker meet the Landlord via video call to check the condition of the house and its amenities and features.
You can identify a verified property as these will include the "Checked" tag and include a "Checked by" photo from our Homechecker.
If you see a property without the “Checked” tag, don’t worry, we plan on verifying all properties in the near future.
You can check its availability and make a request for us to verify it soon. If you prefer, you can also book it directly.
