What is a verified property? (Checked by Spotahome)

A verified property (Checked by Spotahome) is a property that has been visited by one of our Homecheckers. The verification process can take place with a physical or virtual visit to the property.

A Homechecker is an appointed representative of Spotahome, to make sure you get what you see. They take photos, videos and create a floorplan which is then uploaded to the website.  

During the virtual verification, the Homechecker is supported by the Landlord. The Homechecker meet the Landlord via video call to check the condition of the house and its amenities and features.

You can identify a verified property as these will include the "Checked" tag.

If you see a property without the “Checked” tag, don’t worry, we plan on verifying all properties in the near future. Nonetheless, you can still book an unverified property: all our guarantees will still apply.

Across all our properties, including both verified and unverified properties, we offer a 24 hour guarantee as per our Terms and Conditions. This guarantee safeguards your payment. 

If after moving in, you find that there are significant discrepancies between the property and the online description, please let us know within 24 hours. We will help you to resolve this issue and hold on making the payment to the landlord.
