What is the commission charged for a Booking?
Typically, the commission charged by Spotahome to landlords is a percentage of the total rent paid by the tenant for the duration of their stay. When a tenant sends a booking request for your property on Spotahome, you will see in the Booking Request email the associated commission charged for Spotahome's service under the Payments Made through Spotahome section.
The fee only applies if you accept the Booking Request and will be deducted from the First Payment sent via Spotahome 48 hours after the Tenant moves in.
What does the Commission Cover?
- Marketing your Property: Professional listings and marketing (including photos, videos, and SEO optimization),
- Payment Security: First payment is received by Spotahome once the Booking has been accepted and we hold this securely until the Tenant check in
- Support Services: Landlords receive ongoing support from a dedicated account manager.
- Spotahome Plus guarantees: For Spotahome Plus landlords, our fee covers the rent, damages and early exit guarantees included in the Spotahome Plus program.
