What should I do if the landlord asks for more money than advertised?
If the landlord is requesting an additional/different payment than what was advertised on the listing or the one that you received on your booking confirmation, you should not agree to pay the additional amount outside of the platform.
Instead, you should contact our customer support team and report the issue. Provide any relevant information, such as the amount that was advertised, the amount the landlord is asking for, and any messages or communication you have had with the landlord.
Spotahome will investigate the issue and work to resolve it in a fair and timely manner. In some cases, Spotahome may cancel the booking and issue a refund if the landlord is found to be in violation of their policies.
