In this article you can find out how to modify a confirmed booking as a landlord on Spotahome. Modifying a confirmed booking is an important action, and it should be handled with care to ensure that both you and the tenant are satisfied with the changes. Below are the steps and key considerations for modifying a confirmed booking:
Contact Spotahome Support: Spotahome does not allow direct modifications of confirmed bookings through the Landlord Panel. Therefore, if you wish to make any changes to a confirmed booking (such as changing the move-in date, rental price, or other terms), you will need to contact Spotahome support via our Contact Form.
Provide the Necessary Details: When requesting the modification, be sure to include the following information:
Tenant’s Consent: Spotahome will typically communicate with the tenant to ensure they are in agreement with the proposed changes. The tenant's approval is usually required before the modification can be processed, particularly if it involves changes to the rental terms (e.g., rent amount or dates).
Confirmation of Modification:
Once the tenant agrees to the changes and Spotahome processes the modification, both you and the tenant will receive a confirmation. The booking details will be updated, and both parties will be informed of any revised terms. In case the tenants does not agree with the proposed modifications, you will be offered the chance to keep the booking with the original conditions, or to cancel (cancellation policies will be applied).
If you still have any other questions about how to modify a confirmed booking, or any other doubts about Spotahome, you can contact our team via our Contact form, and we will assist you as soon as possible.
