What are Spotahome's cancellation policies for landlords?
If you are a landlord and you decide to proceed with the cancellation of a confirmed booking:
If you cancel a booking at any time after you have accepted it:
- we will charge you the Landlord commission due from the booking.
- If you cancel a booking on the move-in date or within 48 hours after the move-in date:
- We will charge you the Landlord commission due from the booking plus up to € / £ 300 to cover the emergency accommodation costs for the tenant.
- If you cancel the tenancy after the tenant has moved in and this cancellation takes place before the end of the contract:
- We will not refund any part of the commission from the booking.
On the other hand, if the Tenant decides to cancel:
- 30-59 days before the tenant moves in;
- You will receive 50% of the tenant’s first rental payment (or 25% of the holding deposit in London).
- 0-29 days before the tenant moves in:
- You will receive 100% of the first month’s rental payment (or 50% of the holding deposit in London).
- Anytime after the move-in date:
- This should be handled between the tenant and landlord.
